Team USA and Team Canada

I'm trying to get some foreignplayers into Kiekko so what would be the best way to get them excited. I know! Let's tell about their national teams. I'll start with Americans and Canadians.

Team USA
In the first World Cup team USA did not succeed. They lost to Canada 3-1 and the silver medalist Estonia won them 3-0. On the second round USA gave up to Slovakia. Team USA was not allowed to play in the second tournament because some of the players were acting really badly after the disaster of the first tournament.

In the third World Cup USA were playing far more better after they played a 1-1 tie against Canada. However they lost to Slovakia and were 7. of the tournament with UK.

The fourth tournament was held with only 6 teams and USA was not in it.

Team Canada

Canada has been more suffesful in the World Cup and in Kiekko overall than USA. In the first tournament they won USA 3-0, but were brutally owned by Estonia (6-0). Canada won bronze on the first tournament, while Finland won Estonia in the finals.

In the second tournament Canada was playing in the same group with Czech Republic, and unfortunately, with Finland. Finland took a 18-0 victory over Canada and a 10-0 over the Czechs. Canada also lost to the Czechs 2-0 and moved to the second round to play against the Netherlands. Netherlands won the game 5-1 and Canada was out.

In the third World Cup USA and Canada met again. The game ended in a 1-1 tie. Canada lost to Slovakia (5-2) and Czech Republic (6-1). Canada was finally dropped by Slovakia.

The fourth tournament was a disastor to Canada as they were knocked out by UK (4-1) and Finland (14-1). However they took a revenge after winning Finland in the first national friendly ever played on the North-American server.
